Psychiatric Medication Management
So what exactly happens in session?
Whether you are meeting with us for the first time or coming in for a routine check-in, we prioritize clarity, attunement, and collaboration. Here is a breakdown of what you can expect during your virtual visit:
Comprehensive Clinical Review: We start by discussing your current symptoms, any changes in your mood or energy, and how you are functioning in your daily life. We don’t just look at a checklist; we look at the whole person.
Medication Efficacy & Side Effect Monitoring: We take a deep dive into how your current prescriptions are working. We discuss any potential side effects and determine if the current dosage is meeting your therapeutic goals or if an adjustment is necessary.
Holistic Health Integration: We believe mental health is connected to physical and spiritual well-being. We may discuss sleep patterns, nutrition, or recent lab work to ensure your treatment plan is balanced and comprehensive.
Collaborative Goal Setting: You are the expert on your own life. We spend time discussing your goals for treatment and making shared decisions about your medication path. We strive to ensure you leave the session feeling empowered and knowledgeable about your care.
Therapeutic "Check-In": While these sessions focus on medication, we recognize that pills are often only one piece of the puzzle. We provide a supportive space to process how your treatment is impacting your quality of life and can offer coordination with your therapist, or referrals to outside providers.
Seamless Digital Coordination: At the conclusion of the session, any necessary prescriptions are sent electronically to your pharmacy of choice. We also coordinate follow-up scheduling to ensure there are no gaps in your care.
Appointment Times: Initial appointments are 1 hour. Follow-up appointments are a minimum of 30 minutes.
